Poking Fun at Ourselves

The mini-KY GTG made me smile, looking at the pictures of BJ dumping. I thought it might be fun if we posted some pics of us in various stages of that delightful, delicate procedure. Maybe my sense of humor is a little warped, but it feels like it would bring lots of smiles to people, especially during this season of loss and major life changes.

This was taken a couple of years ago. Not sure where I was, but obviously my friend found it necessary to document the procedure.

It's a feat worthy of documentation! I saw a pair of elbow length bright pink rubber gloves complete with white polka dots and little ribbons at a TJ Max store and I'm still kicking myself for not buying them. They would have been so perfect to whip out and suit up in for an audience.

Don't have an RV yet, but I will rush out to TJ Max tomorrow and see if they still have any so I will be properly outfitted when i do get one!

Actually, a better photo would be of me getting up off the ground without putting weight on my bionic knees. So far, have no photos of that. Which reminds me of an incident last winter when I fell on my rear in a snowdrift holding on to a bag of carryout food and a Coke in a paper cup. Couldn't figure out which to put down first since neither had spilled, but a nice man stopped and helped me up. He said he didn't think I was just sitting there for fun.

I believe that Beth could find that nice shot of Carol.....at the dump station.....the one that reminds me never to dump my rig if Beth is still in the park....

Not only Beth, ya gotta watch Carolyn Patin, too. Don't EVER, and I mean EVER, turn your backside to her, that girl has her camera glued to her hand and her hand up to her face at all times!

Because my motorhome is so low I usually have to get on my hands and knees to get the leverage I need to pull the levers. Glad there aren't any pictures of that. And then trying to get up.

I really don't want a photo (or video) of my last dump. Forgot that I'd left the black valve open after flushing. Had myself a nice $&!t shower. It's not a smell that leaves easily. After washing about 10 times, I finally had to rub onions on my hands to get rid of the smell. I also had an audience, which added to the special moment. Ahhhh....memories....

OK, I am supposed to be grading papers, but I couldn't resist a quick AMazon search for some glamour gloves and a couple of apron/glove sets appeared. Now, you can dump and be well-attired:
