And Irmi, even though it's family - they will think you'll stay longer if necessary. Like Sharon, I gave plenty of notice. They even had who would be coming in to replace me figured out beforehand (unlike Sharon) but still extended my leave date twice and tried to do it a third time. That time I held my ground and said absolutely not. Also like Sharon they tried to get me back, but unlike her, I didn't take them up on it in anyway. Well, have done some webwork for them - but can do that on the road

Make sure they know your date is firm - especially as I know you have already made plans, etc.
