Roaming around the Elkhart area Another post and Pics

Postby asirimarco » Sat Sep 17, 2011 6:00 pm

Yesterday we visited Midlebury and their fall festival, today we went to Shipshewana.
I've updated the blog with pictures a couple of times. Trying now to do it daily.
Alfie is starting to look beautiful. Shines like a mirror - but we'll probably have to stay here a few more days to get it finished. Now that it has warmed up some that isn't a problem. Just so it doesn't rain! We're in no hurry to get home.

Sounds as if you are getting back into the swing of things, Carol! Good to hear from you again, and travel with you and the driver. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I like the new look of your blog. And...love traveling with you! The painted elk remind me of the painted thoroughbred horses around Ocala.

I liked the elk, too. We have the different painted gators in Lake Charles.
