Beautiful pictures. I took wondered if that young bear was a grizzly. Hard to tell when they are young.

Pics of the mountains humble me too. I know they bring tears to my eyes when I first see them in the Canadian Rockies after driving for two days across the flat Canadian praries. Mountains are so beautiful and awe inspiring. Rocky Mountain High indee.

Beautiful pics, Marslet! The west is definitely the part of the country to view large herds of wildlife and the predators that follow them. As Sue says, the mountains that suddenly rise so abruptly from the flat, flat lands to the east of them always take my breath away. I really do need to travel that way again. Thanks for the pictures!

Really enjoyed the pictures...you were in the right places at the right time to get the pictures
We are workkamping in a area not far from West Yellowstone haven't seen bears although others have
so they are all around us as we tell our campers
Looks like you saw quite a variation of scenery
