Two thoughts...the first regarding the heat. I've been watching those National weather maps and unless I had headed to the PNW or upper North East like Liz....everything else on the map is hot hot hot.... :D :D :D

And Sharon is my role model for including/adding stops in my journey.....I always remember the GTG in NAshville when I first met her. She decided to come because it was only 500 miles farther that her stop with family in Arkansas.  You may only go around once and that is if you are lucky to get to go at all!

My point is, you are quite the woman!

Supposed to start cooling a little. And there's always the A/C! And thank you, you've learned well! :D

Yes ma'am, I understand, no compliment intended. Do believe I did close to that last year, can't remember whether I figured it out or not. Doesn't matter, I'm gonna go regardless.

Sharon and I plan trips similarly. Remember last year? I was going from AL to KY? Then there was the AR gtg. So it became AL to AR to KY. Then there was Branson. So it became AL to AR to MO to KY. Then it looked reasonable to go to my high school reunion, and if doing that to visit family and friends and how could I not stop to visit Carol and the Driver - so it ended up being: AL to AR to MO to IA to WI to IL to WI to IL to IN to KY. Yep a few hundred miles changed quickly - but how to we gauge the happiness that comes from traveling, sightseeing and, of course, visiting family and friends. (And yes, I did the back and forth between WI and IL for the reunion weekend).

Love the way you travel, Sharon.

Since you're leaving 10 days later than originally planned, you're gonna have to drive....well, like you normally do, zoom, zoom, zoom! Bad news is that my 30A is out of commission, so I'm told. Had some new rv repairman here this week to fix my toilet (trash in supply line) and awning not working. The awning had a fried/short/or something wrong with the wire between the fuse and the control panel. $223 later, (won't be using them again), they said I was getting 120v on the 12v wire or something like that, they worked back to the plug and said that was the problem. I'm not sure why there's never been any other problems in the 5 years we've been using it, although Birdie did kick the breaker once, the night she was here, (we always use a surge protector) maybe we've just been getting by lucky. Anyway, back to you, your options are, if you think you can get Hope in here, you can use your geny, we still have water! :D OR there's a local easy in, easy out park just 2 miles off I-10 OR we could meet at a local campground or state park and camp with you OR meet up with the eastern sistah's and all camp out together. Whatever you want to do, just let us know. All this is contingent on no hurricanes!!
