I have a stool too...not even a foldable one...it's always out because I can't reach the upper cabinets or open the roof vents or see what's on the upper shelf in the closet without it. The ceiling lights are the three way like Ava refers but I also have a wood dowel that I can use to reach the switch on the fixture to adjust them when needed...I used the end of a fly swatter until I realized that using metal on an electrical fixture probably wasn't one of my wisest choices! Have to have the stool to reach the chain on the ceiling fan too. Under the bed I store a three step utility ladder so I can reach the AC and clean the filter when needed. On the upside I am able to walk around up in the bedroom and not worry about hitting my head on the ceiling! I may be short...but hey my feet touch the ground!

I am vertically challenged also, and during the week had to stand on the dinette, the sofa, and just about everything to reach the high cabinets. While I think the high storage is a good thing overall, I can see the need for a stool, maybe even a taller one with two steps since I am only 5'1" these days. (Used to be an inch taller.)

My 6'3" son had no problems at all, other than the very short shower!!

I am on my way home now, but it was a great experience. I now have a list of new things to check when I look at motorhomes--like can you turn around in the shower without bumping the shower door. They obvously make these things for very tall, very thin people!
