Thanks for asking Linda! We are all ok here in Central VA. I still have some left over pain frm the shingles; really hurts after a day at work, so I'm loathe to do much on the puter in the evenings. But all is well here.

I'm heading out tomorrow at oh-dark-thirty to fly up to Seattle. Mom's having surgery to remove a basel cell carcinoma on the side of her nose near her eye. If there's a good cancer, this is it, but being so close to her eye is worrisome. And she just turned 78 on Saturday. So I'm going home to hold her hand til (as she said) the valium drip starts working. Also, my daddy is worried too. So I'll need to "hold his hand" while she's in surgery too. They've been married for 58 years....and I'm the first born! (was there any doubt???) so it's up to me to ensure they are both ok as long as possible.

My flight leaves Richmond at 0615...the airport is 30 minutes away...so I have to leave here about 0400! Oh jeesh....gonna be a long day!!!

I will try to check in from Seattle, but if ya'll don't hear from me for a week, at least you'll know why.

I've really missed the chatter to, Linda. Glad you checked into it. Think thats one reason, I thought it was so quiet on the forum yesterday. Then to, seems so many have plans for travels and getting ready for that, no time for remarks here If they'll take us along with them, when they're ready, being quiet now, will be ok :lol
