Didn't want to hijack the other thread, cuz I've NEVER been known to do that...
I had to improvise through the central plains...

Let me know when you get close to my area Charlotte...I'll round up Evie (Pooker) and come GTG with you and Jim...Havasu, Grand Canyon or Bakersfield...all within a days drive for us.

Looks like the makings for a great trip.

Mitch -- With all the trips members are talking about, you will have a busy time making maps. Great visual for all of us to follow along; i especially like the one you did with the membership location overlay.

Well at #13 they could shoot straight east and come visit me. Then follow the Missouri Rive down to #15. They don't need to go to Denver...it doesn't have anything that Avon doesn't have! :?

What a wonderful trip you have planned. You will enjoy all of it thoroughly, taking your time, there is nothing to worry about. The only worry will be seeing all the "must sees" in each area. Going to be really crowded in the cab of your truck, I think all of us will be in there with you :P :P

Mitch, you are really doing wonders with the maps you're making, helps us all to know the kind of trips our Sistahs, are planning. Thank you, seeing their agenda makes it so interesting to me.

Charlotte, have a fantastic trip, take pix and share with us when you can . Don't worry about what you say about them, just enjoy your trip and do YOUR thing.

Hi to Jim, Have a really great trip you two !!!
CArol :)

Are we by chance going to see you in Ark, in Oct? Hope so !!!

PM me when you start to my area!! If nothing else we can meet up right at the Clark Co fairgrounds for a mini GTG as it's right next to I-5 and you'd have their huge parking lot for maneuvering the rig.

Love the map and driving info, Mitch. However, if we tried to do that, you'd spend hours changing and updating ours-we have a general idea of direction, but then come to an intersection and flip a coin    However, we have reserved a spot at Betty's in Abbeville and will be hooking up with Martha. carold

Thanks Mitch for the update.I had already estimated the mileage. We plan on driving no more than 7 hours a day so we can pull in set up and fix supper and still have time to rest. My friend, Delilah, who lives in Texas is going to go with us until she gets tired and then she will fly home. She is the friend that went to Alaska with us two years ago. We always have a ball together whenever we go somewhere. Of course, we haven't been in such close quarters before, she may be ready to come home before we get out of Texas
Dee's husband passed away 3 years ago this March, and I think it does her good to get out of the house and immerce herself in life full time again. :)
