Did they do the cat scan? At least you want to know if you still have this kidney stone and if there are any others sitting in your kidneys so you will know to expect them to pass also.
I have had several kidney stones over the past 35 years, and I always carry some pain meds in case I have problems out in the boondocks. I passed my first kidney stone, except I didn't know it at the time, at Dinosaur National Monument in northeast Utah. Couldn't have picked a worse place, especially since we also had a flat tire. The horrible pain finally went away after several hours, and by the time we got to the next big city it was gone, so I never did stop to get it checked out.
A couple of strong pain killers and drinking a ton of water will at least give you time to get to a hospital if you have problems in the middle of nowhere!
