Even though this sounded like THE perfect rig, and the man selling was very very nice I've decided to keep looking. I can't see asking him to hold it until I can get to Florida plus what Mtngal said
"more than likely you will have some repairs on a rig that is 10 years old, especially if you plan to put long miles on it" which is true. I'm sure it is performing well now but taken out on the road puts a different type of stress and there would be repairs. I think I would rather put extra $$ into a newer unit. So... the search goes on.
If anyone else us interested PM me, it does sound and look in amazing condition. They seldom used the bathroom, never the shower, the ice cube trays still has the plastic wrap on them. He said he just bought two new batteries as the others were getting old and that the generator fires right up and runs well. It sounds like they are using it very little but consistently for around town and short trips. T
Thanks everyone for your input!

To be honest, I wouldn't let the age stop me because of repairs in a rig like this. You need to figure those in - but you'll start seeing repairs in rigs almost right from the start - just like in houses. The lower price means there's room to make some, if necessary. But that's your decision. And I have a feeling he'll sell that right quickly - would be surprised if he doesn't. My problem was if the price was right - NADA would have told you that.

Good luck and have fun searching.

BJ, here is the NADA guide for the Roadtrek. have no idea of the length or options that might be on the one your looking at. But if you do? You can add them on the next pg.

Don't know if this will help any at all on the decision. :)
