If I had to choose the cold travel, I would walk fast during the sunny day, put on warm clothes and build a nice fire to take me through the evenings, crawl into my heavy-duty sleeping bag until the warm rays of the sun awoke me to begin anew.
I really don't enjoy being either too hot or too cold, as I am sure most of us feel. 10 degrees below zero isn't that hard to take, but 110 above would sap me of all my strength, I think. Adding clothes is more appealing than roasting and not being able to cool down, for me. Two weeks of intense cold would be very doable for me, but two weeks of intense heat might do me in! Just knowing that the time was a definite known interim would make the cold the better choice for me, I guess.
Now that I have thought this through out loud, my choice would be the cold!
This is what I was thinking as I read it then thought about...then as I read through the posts.
Hey was dying after 3 hours in 104 degree temperatures and I had the Virgin River to swim in. I do not like it too hot either. I handle cold better then heat...
So I will take the cold.
