Where are Lori & Ernie? On Our Way to Arkanas!!

Hello...
Well after spending a month with friends, Donna & Mike, parked in their back yard....we're finally on our way to our next 30 day stay place.....

We joked with Donna & Mike about their campground....Camp Webb....and finally gave them a Rating of 4.9..... ;) And they gave us our site sign.....

That's 112 & 1/2 Issac Way.....

Here's a shot of our campsite in their back yard....just before we took off on Tuesday....

Ernie said he would recommend them to all of you as "Camp Hosts".......telling them he would spread the word..... All kidding aside, we really enjoyed our visit with them......They are to join us at Corpus Christi NAS in Dec.....

Anyways, so we hit the road heading for Fort Smith, AR yesterday, and planned a stop at the Navy Base RV Park on the way.....it's located about 20 miles from downtown Memphis, TN.......

We're staying 2 nights and leaving tomorrow morning.....
So we got up bright and early and did a morning walk downtown along the famous Beale Street, noted for Blues, Rock & Roll, etc....and of course, for food and drink....

Then a little walk along the mighty Mississippi....

We had a great time......
Did lunch at the Helmsman Club here on base then did our grocery shopping at the commissary....
So that's if for now.....Enjoy the photos and will report again when we're settled at Fort Smith....

I've always meant to go to Memphis - love the pics. I love blues and will make it there one day. Enjoyed your narrative and it whet my appetite.

Hey gals Lori & Ernie have a Blue Boy on the back of their 5th wheel....for those who wanted to know what a Blue Boy looks like , it is for draining your gray water off into it.

Great photo's.....hear those Military parks are nice...Enjoy!

Beale St. looks like fun. Good music (?) and good food! Not sure if you heard music there during daytime hours. But i trust that those places have music in evening like New Orleans does. glad you had a good time there.

Oh, man! Ate some of the best ribs ever there. They are known for their blues festival, too. Did you get to the Peabody Hotel and watch the marching ducks?
