It Never Rains in Southern California ...

... it POURS!

I just sat through about 10 minutes of total downpour -- 3" per hour according to the weather station around the corner from where I live. It's playing havoc with my satellite TV today, and under other circumstances I'd go out and do something. But they're predicting more heavy rain and possible damaging hail, so I'm not so inclined to venture out right now.

I'm including a link to the weather station I keep tabs on. Kind of interesting, at least for me.

Good thing this is on its way out. But it's not going without a big bang!

I had about 5 min of sun this afternoon...well, truthfully, it was only sunny if I looked out the living room windows. If I looked out the back, it was cloudy. Raining again, don't think it's ever going to end. Chewy said she thought maybe we should start building a boat.

As much as I LOVE California, it was either earthquakes (usually small and no biggy); rain as in the 2nd great flood; fire burning everything or mud slides. You can't say California doesn't have diversity. People who built on hillsides surrounded by brush that would burn and then the mud would make the house slide down the hill always amazed me.
