Can someone tell me how to upload pics?

Ok everyone, I have been trying for the last hour to upload pics to a message I was trying to send out. No such luck! Can someone give a poor a girl a tutorial on how it works on this forum. Any help would be appreciated.

In case you are not familiar with what you get when posting the IMG code, don't be alarmed when you see only the code while composing your post. Once you hit submit, the code will change to your photo.

I'd also suggest clicking on preview before Submit when you get your post ready, just to see if everything is showing and how you want it to look.
