Elsie will be in my prayers ;) I, too, saw that movie that Liz saw. It was a Hallmark movie, called "November Christmas". If you haven't seen it, I think you can get it at the book stores. Wonderful movie! I agree with the early Christmas :D My GF in Joshua Tree is a Hospice nurse. They are a special breed :!: Angels on Earth. Is Elsie Saved? It will give you much peace if she is ;)

Oh Barb, so very sorry and of course I will keep you, Elsie and her family in my prayers. Have to agree with the early Christmas, what a super idea. She's probably so knocked out from the pain meds that she won't even realize what the date really is, and it may bring her and her family some joy. Heaven only knows that at this time they need all of the happiness they can wring out of this horrible tragedy. Guess we all know of cases like this one....Micky's dad only lived a week after they found his cancer. The doctors just thought he needed Prilosec for his stomach ache. My mom was a hospice nurse and she said never to trust the doctors and boy she's been proven right over and over again.

Zeee, I was so sad to hear about this situation you are trying to deal with at this time of year of all things. I am so sorry, and yes dear friend, you have Prayers, for all of you, coming from this way. I also think an early Christmas might be for the best, if her time is so short. This will be a memory for the family left, that might help them in their grief that they were able to give her this one last wish.

Hospice is wonderful, they are very special people.

My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Barbzee,

We all need a friend like you to help us through the hard times. Please know that I am thinking about you as you hold your friend dear. I agree with the others who said that Christmas isn't a date on a calendar, but a time filled with love. Celebrate love with your friend.

Barbzee-

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend as you go through this very difficult time. As I read the responses of all of our wonderful RVing friends here on the forum, I am amazed at the number that have been touched by this awful disease and as I also watch 2 of my dear friends battle with it, I pray that science can find a cure someday very soon!

God be with you and Elsie and her family!

Barbzee I have been praying as I read the posts... It is a hard road she is on... her husband must be in such a sad state... you are her friend and what a burden is on your mind... God is near... I think Beth has hit on the good thing... she will not know one day from another but evidently Christmas is important to her... celebrate early...
God be with you all...

Zeee I have been reading your blog as you know. Elsie, Clancy and you are in my prayers. I love the idea of an early Christmas. Elsie would be able to enjoy it, her family would be able to grant her wish and if she is still here on Christmas Day you can celebrate twice.

I know you are all hurting. Wish there was more I could do but God knows what you all need at this moment in time. Hang in there and know that you and your friends are very well loved and thought of by many.
