Visited my Roots Today

I visited my roots today: http://ontheroadwithbeth.com/blog/2010/ ... -ia-roots/

Am now at my sister's in Prairie du Chien, WI. Might not have much to post about while here - just doing some good visiting with her and going to look up some of my friends here. I'll leave here Thursday to head back into IL from my hs reunion, then travel back north and visit a couple other places in WI before coming back here to my sis's for another week or so. Then it'll be time to head to Kentucky.

That's a beautiful drive along the river. Especially this time of year. I will be in Moline, IL on Friday and Saturday to visit some cousins before heading to Des Moines. Will you be near there then?

It's neat to visit historical places, but even more so when it's your own history. Nice tour and I enjoyed the stories to go with.
