Monkey Wrench

As several of you know I have been planning a trip to New England for over a year now and recently spent many hours firming up dates, campgrounds, route etc and planned to leave home Tuesday Sept 7 and be gone about 19 days. Well, the missing mother has been found and thrown a major monkey wrench into my careful planning. ;) After visiting with my sis and her crew in upstate NY for a week, she will stop to see my niece and her new(ish) baby near Rochester and then arrive here to visit me right around Labor Day weekend. Of course, they don't travel on holidays so may not be until Tuesday or even Wednesday, who knows? So... I have tentatively changed my start date to Monday, sept 13. It does look like all the cg I picked will still be open. I am also having a new roof put on my house around that time so I need to check with guy doing that job to see if the change is okay with him. What do we say on here? Plans made of Jello?

Sorry about your change of plans, but you should still get there in time to see the peak fall colors. Hope you have a nice visit with your mother and all goes smoothly with the roof job.

There are some good things here - you get to visit with your Once-Lost Mom, you still get to take your trip, and the fall colors might be a bit prettier...
Sometimes Jello is a good thing, too! ?

Ya gotta laugh! I keep reminding myself that she won't always be around to drive me crazy!
