Here are pictures from our excursion while waiting for Carol's brakes to get fixed. The parts are in, and they are being repaired today. Carol will be heading home to see about getting the AC fixed too, and I am on the road again toward the NE.

Liz, you always find the neatest areas. We travel in NC quite a bit and missed this one as well as your last excursion Need to do more researching. We are now on Route 25 going north up the peninsula from Port Heron, MI (that's Michigan, for all you confused abbreviators ). The crossing from Canada was outrageous and the guy at this state park (Lakeport) says it's like this every day of the week. Took us 45 minutes to get thru. Relaxing and enjoying a glass(es) of wine and sunshine . carold

Wooohooo, Liz. You've been looking for cooler weather for sleeping. You finally got it. I'm glad for you - makes that boondocking in the Blue Ridge cg's so much better.

Actually, much cooler here - well, relatively speaking, also - the humidity level has dropped. But nothing near sweatshirt and jeans weather.

Don't expect to be in Ohio, Kelpie. Definitely not on I-75. Would have liked to have met you, though. I'll check where you are when I get to NE.
