Been gone for awhile...

Hello Ladies!

It has been quite awhile since I have been on the forum. I was reprimanded by someone for a posting I made and was quite confused when I saw someone post something very similar to my post and not a negative comment was made. I am not sure if I will stay on here or not...still contemplating the email I received. But alas that is my problem/issue not yours.

We are doing fine and still traveling/working/living the carnie life. We are currently in Portland, OR for a 2-day Hispanic Festival on the waterfront. Next week we go to Hillsboro for the Washington County Fair.

Ditto what the nice Vickie person said..... And yes , there will always be differing opinions of stuff...whatever that stuff may be......and the world keeps going around..... So glad to hear from you and know that the gig is still working..... I thought of you this week as I have been attending the county fair. I don't think the group that some in here has quite the high standards that your group has.... but it is good to know that not all the carny life is that same....you have taught us all a lot and to not jump to conclusions without hearing the whole story

just last night I was thinking of you and wondering so glad that you came on and that life

I don't generally have time to read blogs... and sometimes it's all I can do to try to keep up on here...but I hope you can get on the forum from time to time to keep us updated. HEY, it's about time! We missed you and learning all about Carnies! Never be intimidated by other's opinions-----they are just that---opinions. We all have them, sometimes they differ, sometimes they agree, but we are all opinionated in one way or another! So glad to see you again!

Thanks everyone for the welcome back. I am doing well and plan on sticking around. I look forward to sharing more about our life with the carnival. I will do a separate post of the rest of our itinerary ~ who knows maybe I can meet some of you along the road.
