A Little FB Help, Please

Okay, I did it ... I accidentally hid someone from my news feed, or whatever it's called. How do I turn them back on?

Facebook makes me crazy ...

Thanks for the help!

Laura, I just joined last week so I don't know a whole lot about it but I looked in the help area and found this, don't know if it will help you or not. I'm sure others who have more experience can give your more info.

How do I unhide friends or public profiles back to my News Feed after I hide them?

To add someone back to your News Feed, follow these steps:

1. From the Top News stream, scroll down to the bottom of your News Feed and click "Edit Options."
2. If you are looking for a friend, scan the list to find that person. If you are looking for a public profile, select the Public Profiles tab.
3. Click "Add to News Feed" to see their posts again.
4. Click "Close" to save your changes.

I, too, am a new member of Facebook, and it is driving me crazy, too! I will copy down Vickie's instructions on how to reinstate someone, because I wanted to just block the game stuff that one person was posting, and not the person. I refuse to do the games, and don't want to see all those requests for wheat, chicks, gems, or whatever!! I have enough going on in real life to complicate it with all those things! (Although, I realize that for some people, games are a wonderful way to relax and get away from reality for a bit-----not criticizing those who love the games, just saying I am too pre-occupied right now for that world.) I am still not convinced that I will stay on FB.....each day I think will be my last, but then I discover another long-lost friend or family member, and that keeps me going!

Soos, try moving the curser to the right of the "game" post....you'll see a pop-up "Hide"....I've never done it, but I assume that if you click on that you can "hide" that post....just a thought...

I did that. Lori, but failed to notice that I could opt to hide either the person, or the game thing, or one other choice I forget. When I first did it, I was hiding the people instead of the game stuff!

Thanks for the imput!

I also learned that if I haven't posted to a person's scribblings for awhile, FB hides them automatically. So sometimes you quit seeing someone and didn't do anything. Weird.
