All Righty Now!!!

I am at my favorite camping spot, right on Silver Lake! With the help of a kind man next door, guiding me a bit, I managed to back into a good spot, right directly on the lake! I'll take pics of my place later, but, for now, I am going swimming! YIPPEEEE!

Tonight I'll eat at the lodge on the lake, at the bar, and then come back here when it's cooler. My AC can't run here...not enough power. But the lake breeze and my fans are doing a fine job!

It's 90 out there now, at 5:00, and the water sure does feel good!

I have over-the-air TV and free WiFi! What more could I ask for??

A question from a newbe. What is over the air tv?? Sounds like something I might need LOL

Over-the-air TV is just what we all used to have------free TV using an antenna! Both of my TVs are digital---they have built-in digital tuners-----so all I have to do its crank up the antenna on my trailer push the button for the signal boost on the antenna thing, go to the menu on TV, and do a scan for channels. I found about 11channels I can get just from over the airwaves, like the old days!

It's cooling off nicely now-----down to about 85, but I think I hear distant thunder. ACK I hate lightning! If it gets really bad here, I will head home for the night!

My friend, Laura, and her dog Tilly. We ate supper at the lodge tonight. I had an open steak sandwich, cooked rare-to-raw----exactly as I love it!

Temperature is now down to 68, slight breeze coming off the lake---a beautiful camping night.
