Yup, one of our HOG members did it to a coach that he probably paid over 300,000 dollars for. New inverter, new converter, all new wiring, all new monitoring electronics, new tv's, you name it, he had to replace it. I had to laugh, 'cause he had to do some really creative wiring to do it and he thought he was so smart. It helps that he's a complete di-weed to start with, so I didn't commiserate to much. When my son put a 50A outlet in for me, I had to re-iterate to him a couple of times that yes, I was positive that it was 110V. Then when I pointed out to him that all of the appliances, tv's, etc were 110V, he got it. Then, I stood over him and watched to make sure he did it right, even tho this kid is a whiz with electric. But at least now, when I visit him I have electric, even tho he has no power in his garage while I'm there. If he really needs to use something in the garage I just unplug until he's done. He loves his mama!
