Today we left here early and headed to Ft. Knox......did some shopping at the commissary....then the guys wanted to visit the Patton Museum.....Here are photos at the museum...enjoy....

I LOVE the Doughboy Ernie pic! So cute. Glad you're having a good time - and what do you mean a laundry day LOLOL - hopefully you'll have quite a few laidback days -

When in that area a few years back we toured a few the distilleries - Jim Beam and Haven Hill and Buffalo Trace - lots of samples - now we have lots of empty bottles - if you're not going to drink it why buy it.
Also went to Louisville Slugger Factory - interesting. and of course Churchill Downs. It is a neat area. Had a lot of fun there. Wish they'd of let us see the money at Ft Knox. Or given out samples.
Also somewhere around there is Abe Lincolns birth place and Fosters "Old Kentucky Home," lots to do and see
We also stayed at the Kentucky Horse Park campground by Lexington- really, really nice place
