Ah, RV shopping. Isn't it fun. Or frustrating or both. Enough to make your mind whirl. All kinds of ideas to toss around. New or used, TT or 5th wheel, motorhome or tent trailer, van or...... and then there's the prices and......
I find that making a pros and cons list helps. Narrows down some things, prices of course narrows down a lot. Which brand do you like better than others, or which floorplan. Course georgaphical area has a lot to do with choice too. I'm a bit limited up here as dealers are far and few between. So I study, watch, look and wait. So far I think I have decided that pulling a TT might be a bit much. As some of yu have mentioned, it sometimes can be a pain due to having to get in and out to see where you are when hitching, backing etc. A fifth wheel tows better but back to the hitch busines again, and I really don't need a whole lot of room for right now. Motorhomes are notorious for gas mileage but so are truck/trailer combos. Class B's are good on mileage but not on price. And so it goes. What we don't do to have fun!
