Soos and Cedar - forgive me for leaving out that part of my plans. I believe you are near my sister in Glens Falls? My nephew (father of the great niece) is in Queensbury also. When I researched the area last year, I had kinda decided to base that leg of the trip in the state park just south of Glens Falls, Moreau Lake. I'll let you know more as my plans firm up.

If I can just make a campground a month in Louisiana, I will be happy. Hopefully, make a few TRR rallies, as well.

BOY ! how I wish I had some summer plans that included buying fuel, and LOTS of it! But, alas,, gang, I am still among the wannabees! I AM, however gonna sneak out for a weekend this weekend (the 1st) and go visit my daughter in Lubbock and celebrate w/ all my precious offspring (one boy, 35 and daughter who is 42) and do birthday doings for my oldest grandson, Jackson, who will be turning 9 Saturday. That will be a joy to me as I haven't seen or TOUCHed these kiddos since Christmas and I'm sure feelin' it!
Also I'm gonna take a girlfriend and head to Dallas in July (ug) and join my ex classmates of Class of '66 and some roundabouts from other classes both ahead and behind and we are gonna have a YAKfest and dance at one of our old stomping ground play places at a lake we all frequented. SHould be fun and will be good to hear old tunes played by one of our "guys" and his band which has been together since we were in school. Yay beach boys and beatles' tunes! ha! (and others of the era)

That will most likely be my highlight of the summer. I do so wish I could be shopping for my RIG but doesn't look like it will be THIS year. Oh well, lots of time to keep looking and learning and observing from Ya''ll and reading all your SAGE and sound advice! JUst do me a huge favor and keep posting lots of pics of ya'll and your campgrounds and rigs..etcl

sorry I haven't posted lately,, been crazy around here and the folks are keeeping me pretty tightly reined in! AND.. I have a sore heel which I MAY have to have surgery on,, as the problem is splintered calcium deposits which are sticking my heel w/ sharp splinters from the inside out and making me limp, not a very pleasant deal when it hurts when I walk... yeah,, a gate "BIT" me when I was closing it and didn't get outta the way fast enough and it WHACKED me GOOD,,or bad, as the case seems to be. WIll let ya know if they have to whittle on me,, i think it just needs to be whacked w/ a big hammer,, but oh well,, my problems are small compared to some,, I KNOW! I will quit my bellyachin and just say BYe and

HUGS to all....

Janet, that's a bummer about your foot! Those calcium deposits can be agonizing! But at least you have a few things to look forward to this summer. Who'll look after the folks while you're gone?

Hope you have a great visit with your kids and at your reunion. (I'm class of '66 too). Hope your heel is better so you can dance!
