Karen, glad you are on the mend and weren't seriously hurt when you fainted. Scary stuff, for sure!

For emergency purposes I use ICE (In Case of an Emergency) on my cell phone. I use my daughter's cell# as my emergency contact.

In case of emergency
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In case of emergency (ICE) is a programme that enables first responders, such as paramedics, firefighters, and police officers, to identify victims and contact their next of kin to obtain important medical information. The programme was conceived in the mid-2000s and promoted by British paramedic Bob Brotchie in May 2005.[1] It encourages people to enter emergency contacts in their mobile phone address book under the name "ICE". Alternately, a person can list multiple emergency contacts as "ICE1", "ICE2", etc. The popularity of the program has spread across Europe and Australia, and has started to grow into North America.[2]

Karen, so glad that you recovered. Passing out and food poisoning is no picnic no matter where you are. GLad that you had back up for the pups' care. I always remember a friend f mine that ran a small horse riding program for the disabled. SHe go very ill one winter...her comment, "I knew I was really sick because I didn't even have the energy to worry about the horses....

Karen and Carol...hope you are both doing well. I hate hearing of illness and injuries. I was just thinking about posting emergency contact info in Myrtle somewhere so will read that link. Thanks! I have been using "ICE" in my cell phone for a long time. If I use voice dial I have to say ice to call that person...lol.
