Deer in the park this morning...saw 5 in all and all alive!

Uneventful day of traveling as I let Tomasina have her way and take me on I-10 through Mobile. Except for the city, traffic wasn’t too bad for an Interstate.

Arrived early for a relaxing afternoon....what a nice cg with almost nobody in it! A NF cg with hook-ups is a rare find, and this one is very well-kept with paved level sites. $13

Bandit approves. He likes to get out and explore if it’s quiet with no strangers around. For such a big cat, he’s rather shy.

My gas mileage is averaging 13.9 mpg. Average price paid $2.72, with the cheapest so far in MS at $2.62.

That looks like my kind of campground,... large sites, trees and grass.

Did you wave at Battleship Park just before you headed into the Wallace Tunnel? And did you notice if a cruise ship was in (on the left just as you come out of the tunnel).. you used to be able to see them docked if they were in port. If you noticed Tilman's Corner -- cloverleaf is where I got off coming from Gulf Shores to head up to where I lived in West Mobile. Ahhhhh..... some of the memories were good ones! ;)

Actually I was concentrating on whether my LP tank was considered "hazardous material" and not allowed in the tunnel until I saw the rv in front of me go right in. It's not a very long tunnel, so guess it was ok. I have seen the battleship before, but never noticed a cruise ship.

I discovered that photobucket much prefers this size photo and uploading was a zip. Sorry if they're not as clear as the larger ones I usually post.

Liz, I like the smaller pictures, only because I have two bars on my AT&T Air card and it loads faster.

If Bandit is a Calico are you sure he's a he? It was my understanding that all Calico's were female. I'm too old to be larnin' new stuff. :D

Bandit looks black and white to me, so probably not a calico. It is true tho, that calicos are all females. My cat Zoey is a "diluted" calico.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
