I tossed this together..figured it was the best way to share our pictures.

It was so worth it to get up at 5am..to be there this morning.
We arrived an hour early to get place to stand..and I think we did well.

The one of DD hiding her face..it was the camera flash in the dark..she did not want to be blinded by the light.

WOW Kristy! I am so impressed with your production, and so happy you and your family were able to see it all! I am so proud of you for getting them all up and heading out to view a once in a lifetime scene.

I am also so proud that our little home town of Saranac Lake has 4 athletes there competing! Bill Demong, Nordic Combined (from my teeny-weeny hometown of Vermontville)---Peter Frenette, Ski Jumping---in our high school now-----Tim Burke, Biathlon, former high school student of mine, -----and I am so ashamed I can't remember the 4th person now....will have that info tomorrow!

Anyway, your kids will remember that torch event all their lives. Sometimes it really pays to be the one to 'lead the charge' and get things on the way! CONGRATS!

Happy travels!

I looked for you on Channel 4 news but didn't see you.
