Awning for Aliner

Am using my winter time to design/invent, whatever, an awning that is light weight and easy to put up. Anyone have sewing experience with the waterproof nylon? Plan on using velcro to attach to the camper. Thank you all for the nice welcome.

I think you have to use a sealer on the seams. Also make sure you use nylon thread that is UV resistant.

Could you also/instead use magnets to attach to the RV? Just a thought...

Two years ago I did the velcro thing when I still had the Chalet a-frame. It changed the natural flow of the water running off during rainy days and somehow it came in through the corner piano hinge. Good luck... you may have a better design than I did. I came across over the top of the door, and down about 3/4 of the way on the A slant. Let us know how it works out for you....
