Nope, if you think of the phrase, "a cold day in hell," these kind of temps in FL qualify. Yes?[/quote]

But i thought "a cold day in hell" meant never..... like.... "it will be a cold day in hell when i get married again!".... haha....

I believe she said there wasn't a place to pull over to stop to pee. Gosh, I'd think there were off ramps with gas stations that could have been used as a stopover. ;)

Now ladies,
As someone who makes her life in Louisiana, there are plenty of Potty stops, You just have to stay off of the "pig track roads" and stay on highways that have cars on them. Also, any town big enough to be called a town, has grocery stores, or empty lots to pull over into and use the bathroom. I can't help but wonder what kind of rigs you ladies are driving that you got across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama without having to stop and gas up  I want one of them. I must have the weakest bladder known to man add to that a fluid pill daily, so I know where there are bathrooms to be had. Now if you came across I-10, plenty of potty spots, and if you used Hwy 425 going north or south, again, potty spots. But Lordie if you used I 49, you were out of luck. Not even sure they have sunshine on that long interstate with NOTHING (including billboards) to look at.
Glad you made it safe, hope you are getting warmer.

To get back on topic.....didn't you just love the boojum trees. They are so weird. And the landscape is so dramatic.
Some where south of there there is an agricultural inspection - (Maybe) hide your apples - don't remember what else they look for - maybe potatoes.
Have lots of fun -

We were mentally geared up for the great crossing inspection from Baja Norte to Baja Sur. Beth and I steadily ate our way through all our veggies and fruits. Got all our paperwork in order, Passport, Green Card, Tourist Visa, Dog Health Certificate, Mexican Insurance. You name it, we gots it! So we pull up and each get inspected. Beth had 1 orange. The guy said, Eh, shrugged and flapped his hand. No problem. I had lettuce, half a green pepper and half an onion. My guy said, Eh, shrugged and flapped his hand and left. No paperwork was asked for. We each paid 20 pesos for the inspection, we think, and we were on our way.
