Thought this was interesting for any of you early birds.

I won't have any light polution here so it should be a good show if it isn't overcast. Looking forward to the early a.m. hours!

Yeah, me too, Liz. And then just as soon as I put my head down to stretch my neck is when they decide to come streaking across the sky!

I got up early,... 4 a.m. to check them out. Darn,... sky was overcast so even though i'm out in the country with no light polution I didn't get to see any. Back to bed!

As Cedar has mentioned, way too cloudy and foggy up here in the mountains to see anything last night or early this morning! I even checked at about 2:00!

Well I was out in the driveway before 5am my time and saw????

I either saw ONE meteor or one shooting star. :( I had clear skies and only two lights to contend with.

I did see about a kazillion stars tho. A clump of them looked like a cat? With face and ears too. :D And what looked like a miniature Dipper. Have never noticed either of them before so waking up at 4:45am and going outside wasn't a complete waste of time! ;)
