Company at the campsite!

this little guy,.. or gal,... joined me for breakfast outside the camper. Menu consisted of donut crumbs.

I watched to see where the little critter was going and then followed it to the next site,.. where it was stashing nibbles down his hole,... just as I was peering down at the hole, and happened to have the camera still turned on,.... there it was looking back at me!

Aren't they fun to watch? One year at a state campground there was one who was so tame that the little begger would take corn chips from our hand!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

So neat - not only were you able to follow her "home" but she came to the door to well - I'd like to say invite you in - but I think it was probably more of "make sure that strange lady stays out there" LOL- but let's see if she brought anything for me to stow.

I must've missed the (lack of) dingleberries shot! Darn, I just saw a donut eating critter on a picnic table... O.k., I'm going back to check that out again. Great pics, Cedar. So glad the rain didn't spoil your weekend!

I'll be back on that same campsite for four nights over Labor Day weekend,... I'll try for a definitive "dingleberry" shot,..... hee hee.... ;)

Aren't chipmunks entertaining!!! The 1st thing we do when we land here in the spring is to buy a big bag of un-shelled peanuts (no salt, please) which Ernie uses to train the chippies here....lol...it's a regular circus!!! He has them climbing up boards and eating the peanuts out of his hand and off the top of his shoe...lol...which is fine, except last year the chipmunk thought my toe was a nut and proceeded to nibble on it.... :o Oh, my life with the "ring master" of the "chipmunk circus"....lol good thing I love that guy.....lol
