Columbus Zoo

We visited the Columbus Zoo today and got to watch Jack Hanna film a section of his TV show. Saw lots of neat animals. And the weather was perfect. Overcast so we didn't cook while walking around. Wrote about all we saw in my blog. And added pictures here http://www.movingon1.com/Zoo haven't mentioned but suspect you all know - if you click on first picture it enlarges them and sets up a kind of slide show.
And this is a picture for every one.

Have really enjoyed our time here in Columbus, OH Didn't realize it was such a big city. Very clean, friendly and pretty. We stayed at the Alton RV just off of I-70 on the west side of town.

My GD spent a day with a zoo keeper at that zoo! It was her birthday present. I think it's a pretty neat way to get kids interested/involved with wildlife preservation.

Thanks for the pictures. I wonder if Jack Hanna is as goofy as he acts on TV.

Carol, we must have passed you on the highway! We stayed overnight on the East side of Columbus! Made it home today. I wish we had had time to stop at a lot of the places along the way...maybe some day when I'm retired!

Interesting reflections those flamingos make.
