Ok, Velda, Evie, you both win Round One. I concede. :D

I also agree with you about humidity - as you know, with our low humidity and high temps here, one can get a second degree burn merely by opening the car door handle that has been sitting in the sun. Not to mention the car seats - cloth seats are just bearable, but with vinyl seats one must carry a towel to put across the seats to avoid contact with bare skin (if one is wearing shorts).

I looked at my thermometer at about 4:00, it was 105. At 5:00, 102. At 6:00, 103 (?). I'll need to keep closer touch than this! My Bad! It was 82 when I went to bed about 11:00.

I concede to Barbie, too. I'm sure she has us all beat in the temps department - but she is desert, those of us in the central northern California area are not.

Oh well. 7:40 a.m., temps climbing, just now about 76. Skipping my morning walk, feeling kind of crappy this morning.

I may just go back to bed after coffee.
