long- COVID help maybe

I enjoy reading the Women's World and sometimes I find articles that I hope will be of a help to someone... sometimes I even send them on..
that said awhile back I read this article with the headlines I can finally smell and taste again after long-Covid so read it and pulled it out will just give some of the highlights... if you want more get in touch with me or do a research... that said I did not research it just read and am posting it
this lady had been a year since she had been able to enjoy a meal or the scent of flowers ect... was afraid that it was a forever issue... as it gives her name I will as well Lynn Gilbert besides not smelling or tasting she had a constant metallic taste in her mouth...she had tried many "remedy's" non helped... a few month's ago she attended a tennis competition and met Mark Theno owner of Bioesse a company that produces essential oils inhalation patches...(she had actually tried essential oils but a different way) Mr Theno explained to her the patches improve the way the oils are inhaled allowing a slow diffusion he has some
hemp-ginger and peppermint with him and gave them to her... next day she applied one to her neck but didn't smell much difference but decided to try again and by the end of the day she was smelling better so ordered some patches and as long as she has the patch is on she is able to enjoy food smell ect and the metallic taste is gone she is hoping that given time she will be able to not use the patches but it was wonderful to be able to enjoy food and smell stuff...
As I said I didn't do more than read the article
hope it gives any who can use this or knows someone who can some help.... Linda I hope see's this as well

I will mention it to Linda. She is also researching some ways to get her smell and taste issues improved. Most are just experimental at this point.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbara, tell Linda to join the long haulers Facebook group. The topic of taste and smell are discussed almost daily. Some are having improvement using antihistamines, but one must be careful f on other RX including BP RX. Myself, I only have occasional weird odors at nearly six months out.
