I have'nt posted in so long as so much has happened and I am so very happy with my new lifestyle. I re-listed my house in February at a lower rate of course due to the recession, i was'nt happy about that but I wanted out of there so bad (just too much work and money to be spent all by myself on a 6 bedroom house), and in a matter of 4 weeks I had a buyer.Closing date was April 30.
On March 23 I went to see the motorhome I had been watching on the internet all winter and it was everything I had hoped for.
I immediately made all the arrangements, it was 68900.00 and I got it at 50000.00, and on April 23 I went to pick it up. I had to walk around it at least twice before I could get in the driver's seat to drive a way. I was so overwhelmed that this was mine finally.
My one daughter and son in law came with me for the orientation and she filmed while we had gone around, which was a good thing because by the time I got home I had forgotten everything, haha. I got lost coming home, missed the driveway and had to back up (first time) no problem! I, of course over the next few days started loading it up to be out by the 30th and in the process forgot all my silverware and cooking pots. My campground was'nt opened yet so I drove to my daughter's place in Owen Sound, Ontario a 2 1/2 hr drive and upon my arrival my son in law proceeded to hook me all up. Well the water was pouring out underneath everywhere. Realized that all the traps were still opened from the winterizing, fortunately sil was familiar with RVs as he'd once worked on them, so he helped me locate all the traps and showed me how to close them, So now we're all hooked up. Great! The next morning I'm sitting there having coffee when I hear water gushing? Run to the house screaming EMERGENCY I need help. (They were sound asleep) well my sil comes running and upon realizing what's happening immediately shuts off the water tap. The plug under the sink had broken off. That's when I remembered the dealer had told me about the water filter that I could put in, so that's what was done and all was fine afterwards. What an introduction!!!!
Much more has happened but this is long enough, I'll save the rest for later. Now I will work on trying to post pics on photo bucket and post them as soon as I can. This is my first day alone where I can post since all this took place. So till later i'm here and all is well.

I'm on my third RV and I think I've had water pouring out of every one of them. Look on it as a christening. And make sure you dry the carpets if they got wet. Looking forward to your coming adventures.
