Okay I need some help....this will be the longest trip we have had...with 10 road travel days...some are shorter then others...
But I am trying to come up with something besides sandwiches for lunch.
Any ideas????

Edit to add.....it will 2 adults, 3 teens and Kodie. So 6 people.

Wraps? Burritos? Anything in a corn tortilla makes me happy! Bean dip with veges and chips? Left over breakfast pancakes for peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches? Torta cut into wedges to eat with fingers? Fruit salad with yogurt and granola? Hummus and veges with pita?

What would you have for lunch at home? Same deal on the road. You need the break each day anyway, so just fix whatever you would fix at home.

I'm a big fan of finger food...sliced ham or summer sausage, cheese, crackers, fruit, that kind of stuff.
Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fat.

Thanks for all the great ideas.
We love to make wraps for when we go on hikes. As they do not get smashed like a sandwich.

fruit, lots of fruit, my favorites are fresh strawberries, blueberries and of course
bananas, and tangerines or oranges are always good but I eat light so those are
easy meals for me, and I always try to have graham crackers or vanilla wafers
on hand to eat with my fruit and a yogurt. I also like the little pudding cups if
i don't have yogurt. Now, if your gonna be stopping to use the microwave, Hormel
puts out some good little entries they come in chicken/rice, and chicken/noodles,
stroganoff and my favorite one is the spaghetti. These dinners don't require to
be put in the fridge or the freezer, they are on the shelf and I usually buy several
when I go shopping. They heat up in 90 seconds. In my store I find them near the
rice. They aren't in a can they are in a vacuam packed little tray you just eat out of.
