Serendipity's New Home

Postby Pooker » Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:50 am

The sale of my Pleasure Way is final! I received the check in the mail yesterday from the dealer who had her on consignment. I have such mixed feelings. Hanging up the keys is something we all have to face at some point, but knowing that doesn't make it any easier. I have had a good run - the love of my life and I had 21 wonderful years traveling around this beautiful country of ours in 4 different motorhomes and I've had the good fortune to solo travel another 13 years. However, the time is right to pass on the excitement, frustration, awesomeness, etc. to you younger gals. Hope you can enjoy the journey as much as I did.

Now for a lump in your throat warning: Serendipity's new owner is a single Dad with a terminally ill child. His plan is to take the child and travel as much as they can for as long as they have. My wonderful Pleasure Way is the absolutely perfect vehicle for him to do this and it makes my loss of her a lot easier to swallow.

Congrats on the sale of Serendipity Evie. A bittersweet moment I'm sure. Sad time for the new owner also, but sounds as if he will make memories for himself and have his son love whatever time and experiences they will have together.

Oh, these bittersweet moments! But what a heartwarming story of the purchaser. Serendipity appears to have landed in good hands.

Evie, congrats on selling your RV even tho it is bittersweet for you. The new owner sounds like an amazing father and will have a lot of wonderful memories made with his son in your RV.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
