Murals out in the desert outside of Chloride, AZ

Bill and I spent a few days in northern Arizona last week. One thing we did was take a ride out into the desert just east of the little town of Chloride to check out the huge murals painted by Roy Purcell in 1966. The road out was interesting. Glad we were in the Jeep and that Bill was driving.

glad you posted this as I was going to go back and look at this one and didn't make it
glad you enjoyed that area... I gave some thought of going to Chloride when you mentioned it but not
sure I want to take the truck up it..
