Definitely replace both for reasons given above. If you take the rig to Auto Zone, they'll replace them... And, I, too, recommend the sealed, even though I just went with them for the first time this winter. You asked about 6 volt... I went with them this winter because of the amount of boondocking I like to do winters... But was fine all the previous years with the 12 volt... And these were expensive!

What all can I use in the camper with one battery fully charged while boondocking overnight?

And does the battery get charged while I am driving?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

If it's connected properly, it gets charged while driving. You can't use anything electrical unless you have an inverter and one battery isn't enough for that. You can use 12 volt items (your lights), a12 volt tv if you have it (on a limited basis) and it'll keep the fan running for your fridge. You will have limited use of your gas furnace... The blower uses a lot of power.

you might want to research solar panels...they help lots...I thank Larry in my mind for going with solar even on our 24 footer we had them
at that time we only had the two batteries...but don't remember what they were...
