Mazatlan Carnaval Decorations

Postby asirimarco » Thu Feb 09, 2017 9:59 am

We were surprised to see that Mazatlán has most of the decorations for Carnaval (Spanish spelling) already up. But then remembered it starts the 23rd. Put more of them on the blog, also what the theme this year is.

Those decorations look different from what we have around here for Mardi Gras.

I don't know how they keep palm trees upright considering the size of the root ball. I guess they have to keep them tied off to something.

Amazing colorful floats. You do such a great job sharing Mexico with us.

I used to go to Bucerias Mexico every February for a month and loved Carnival and Blessings of the Boats for the fishermen. I might have to return there next year.
