I haven't been on that side of either Oregon, Washington, or parts of California so it's a list item for me. Mel comes from Oklahoma where wheat is grown and has told me tales of his youth and learning to drive combines as well as having accidentally set a wheat field on fire with an errant rocket launch!

The farmer was led to believe it was probably lightning! My husband and friends concocted their own rocket fuel and did not know their fuel burned at higher temp than the solder they used to fasten the fins on the rocket so fins fell, off and rocket made an unexpected turn before burning out. Glad I knew all this before my boys were old enough to do stuff. Forewarned and all that!
