Although I also never had the pleasure to meet Patty, this is horrible news. Patty has a lot of friends here, both real and virtual, who are sad at this news.
May her final journey be peaceful and as less painful as possible.

I'm glad that Patty's family had the courage to let her final days be as pleasant as possible. Hospice is loving and caring. There is a nice picture of Patty in the gtg section. When I stopped to meet her in Pahrump we had a lovely lunch at the winery. Happier times.
