Wow, I think that is one of my favorite of the places you have written recently. What a beautiful place with such a story. So glad the families have kept it as it was. You know, I don't think I ever read the books, perhaps I should see about them on Amazon.

One of my favorite book series. I never read them as a child, but have always loved them as an adult. Plan to buy them for my granddaughters soon, as they are almost old enough. (The oldest is beginning to read the horse stories I read as a child.)

I am looking forward to going to these places in a few weeks!
