Home but not for long

Got home from the coast on Thursday, a day early. MY spot had a Spring breaker in it so they put me in a park model site till this afternoon. Have to say I will be glad when everyone packs up and leaves. I like the park better when its quieter. Yesterday had to talk to a bunch of kids that kept cutting thru my site right next to my window. Why don't parents teach their kids the camping rules? Oh yeah, because they don't adhere to them themselves.

After 11 days being gone the only mail I had was junk mail from AARP and Good Sam. Its taken over a year but I've finally gotten rid of most the junk mail. I keep emailing AARP asking them to STOP sending junk but obviously they don't pay any attention.

Bought myself a new GPS unit on Ebay - bigger screen and I can play my music on it too which elminates my MP3 player. Nice to have one less wire in the cab. I have my GPS, my MP3, my phone charger and the sensor for my brake buddy. I need a whole bank of 12v plugs. On the way home my GPS kept saying it wasn't getting power and was shutting off. I'd jiggle it and it would be okay for a while. Always wanted to shut off when I didn't know where the he** I was or how to get home from there. My RV guy, Chris, is coming over next week to see why my generator wouldn't start when we stopped on the road and to add 3 12v outlets and direct-wire them to the battery. I've found out that on some of the older cars/trucks (mine's a 2001) the cigarette lighter doesn't have enough power to use all the stuff I need to plug in. I'm going to sell my Garmin Streetpilot 330 if anyone is interested. (Has 2009 maps, and the cord to connect to your computer) for around $90.

Well, had better get it in gear - today is laundry day. Need to get Port Lavaca, Port Aransas and Rockport off my bedding. I mopped yesterday and THINK I got most of the sand out. Now I remember why I got tired of living at the beach years ago. Always damp and always gritty.

How long before you hit the road again?
Think I cold put up with the grit to be on beach for a while. It is a real pain to clean up tho. Sparkle still had TX sand in her truck when she came thru here last month.
