Sometime in March I will be leaving Portland and driving to Aspen, Colorado to meet a few of my kids for a week of skiing. Anyone have advice for driving through Idaho, Utah and Colorado in MArch. I need to be in Aspen by March 19th, and I have fears of being stuck in bad weather.

Very carefully! That said - watch the weather and give yourself extra time to be able to stop and wait things out if necessary.

for the most part winter was a no show in Utah this winter...but as Beth said keep an eye on weather.com or what ever
you use...not last fall but the fall of 2013 I was in Ogden getting ready to leave and the weather indicated 95 % chance of snow in
St. George...I paid attention and didn't leave and it did snow inches
you will do fine just plan according
