Hand Made Soaps

Postby retiredhappy » Fri Feb 06, 2015 12:28 pm

My daughter is making and selling her hand made soaps. She has a site on Facebook called Owl Moon Gift Shoppe. Please take a look and like her page so she gets some exposure. I usually use a ton of baby oil or lotions after a shower cause my skin is so dry. Since using her soaps which are pure and not loaded with chemicals, I've been able to stop with all the oils and lotions. She even makes shaving soap for the guys. Anyway, I would appreciate anyone who might be interested to take a look at her Facebook page.

Thanks.

Karen, I LOVE hand-made soaps, and have been using them exclusively for years. I can find them at many street and craft faires out here. I would love to support your daughter, but unfortunately my choices of soaps are solely based on how they smell. Inhaling deeply into a bar of hand-made soap in the morning is one of my few go-to-work routine pleasures.

I don't know how many different scents your daughter has, so asking her to send a sliver/sample probably wouldn't be very practical.

I wish her well, and if I ever get out your way I'll let you know. I'm always in the market for nice hand-made soap.

I will look at her site. In my Arts and Crafts day, I loved to try the soap products. I wish her much success. I have a neighbor who has been making soaps for 30+ years, grows her own herbs and has done very well. I took some time off from the site but hope to slowly catch up. Do you have new or additional fur babies? I read your comment somewhere about your concern for those who are out in the cold. It is so heart breaking but thank God for those like my own brother and sister in law who rescue so many dogs and many have suffered so much abuse.

I looked at her Facebook site and some of her soap looks good enough to eat. I will have to try some. In the winter I have a problem with dry skin.

Martha, if you would like, I can pick up some soap of your choice when I am over that way in March and bring to you in April. Just let both Karen and me know if you want some. I am currently using the Lemongrass and Green Tea. It has been nice to my skin. My skin is recovering from not liking the St. Ives liquid soap that I tried!

I sent you an answer PM.

You need to make a trip. Hitch itch is kind of hard to cure! Doesn't go away until you travel in the RV!
