House Sitting/Pet Sitting for $

I've been intrigued by CricketSail's house/pet sitting to finance the lifestyle. If you're out there, CricketSail, I'd love to hear how you find your gigs. Does anyone else on the site do something similar? If so, are you part of a company that hooks you up with jobs or do you post ads in papers around areas where you want to head? Does anyone use Caretaker Gazette, and if so, have you had success getting a job that way?
Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

Can't speak for how CricketSail gets her jobs, but mine call me. But then, I'm still stationary and I run a petsitting biz. Have you sent her a pm?
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.
