CHALET05: I have been hoping someone 'in the know' would answer this question so it could be put to rest. Maybe even to say Vickie chooses not to participate here at this time? I do hope all is well with Vickie and Ronnie. Sorry I never had the chance to meet them.

Well, it's obvious that others are "in-the-know" about Vickie.
I'm just really surprised that Vickie never mentioned her friendship with Marda.

However, a more perplexing problem for me tonight is why is there always the eternal dour, sour, complaining, angry bitch in a group.

Me too. I often think of them both and wonder how they are doing. Sure do miss that banter that was going on. Have to remember that sometimes the written word on here can be taken wrong and doesn't mean that the writer has malice toward anyone, it's just that sometimes it's hard to put into words what they really want to say.

I, too, miss both Vickie and you Mitch, even though I have never met either of you. I'm sorry if you got upset. I think the main intent here was to let Vickie and you know that we miss your presence on the forum and hope you are well. At least, that's my take from it.

We are a diverse group here and when it works well it is because we respect our differences as well as celebrating and enjoying those differences and talents. Many here seldom post but try to stay up and post infrequently and we don't think twice. Our lives have journeys and the forum is only a section of that journey. Sometimes a bigger part. Sometimes a smaller part. Sometimes no part at all. Suggestion? Respect that "the Forum" may not be an "important" part of someone's life at the moment for what ever reason. It doesn't mean that friends aren't important, e-mail them or PM them, let them know they are being thought of, that they are important beyond this forum and the chatter they may or may not have added in the past

I like Tina's response, there are many times in life that things happen and we don't want to share or can't share, so we don't get on a forum such as this as we just have nothing to post. I've been there , so I know. I do hope she and Ronnie both are well, that's what matters the most.

Judi, your question was not out of line, you cared, and I'm sure hoped she would respond and say she was well. I don't know her email and thinking if she isn't on forum, she won't see PM either, as you have to sign in to see if you have a msg. So I too, hoped for a response, just hope all is well healthwise at least .

OK ladies, too much drama for a simple question. Lots of us miss the humor of Mitch and Vicki, so let's just wish them well and hope we hear from them occasionally.
