Freeze Warning for Florida Tonight

It is supposed to get down to 29 tonight where I am in Silver Springs. Originally was supposed to be 34 so I was not worried. Just went out and disconnected water hose and will use water in tanks now that I have a working water pump.

Thought some of you here in Florida might want to know.

That is just an insult when it freezes in Florida don't you think? Geez. Keep warm! It is 15 degrees here in Western NC and going down to 2 tonight. Last winter here I hope. Just got a little snow too. Actually it has been mild up to now so can't complain.

Yes but just think how good it makes the people up north feel to hear about it being cold in Florida.

There are no doubt millions in Minnesota cheering now.

It's a balmy 8 degrees here in Fort Wayne with a predicted -9 for the low. Still warmer than Fargo ND (-18 for the low tonight ). I'm ready for summer

Only -3 below right now with -16 wind chill, so it is warming up here!

I actually feel bad for Florida when it gets that cold. The plants and animals get very stressed and in danger of dying. The manatees can die of hypothermia if they can't get into the warmer waters quick enough, especially the babies. Of course, the tourists are not too happy either. I was there last January and was miserable the last two days when it was a high of 45 with wind and rain. Not good beach weather! Made the best of it by going shopping tho!

Will be about 45 tonight in Fort Myers, a bit chilly but will warm up quickly tomorrow. Please warm up north Florida before I get back up there.
